Hello again. Long time no see. It has been awhile since I have blogged. Life got a little crazy for awhile (ie. planning a wedding, nursing school, and surgery). Originally I was supposed to be taking nineteen credits over the summer, but due to Covid I will now only be taking seven. Crazy how life can change so fast. I will now how have a lot more time on my hands than previously planned. Because life has settled down I plan on get back to blogging and even starting back up my Etsy shop!

Those of you who have been following along for a long time know that I used to run an Etsy shop called CaraLeesBoutique. I sold things like headbands, bows, and hair ties. I eventually gave it up because it was a lot of work and I was not truly passionate about what I was creating. Now that I have gotten back into sewing I am learning what it’s like to create again, something that brings me so much joy.

If you follow along with me on Instagram than you already know that I have been working on sewing clothing. I sewed this dress last week and love the way to turned out. This dress started out as a vintage pattern, which I made some tweaks to for the finished product. I am a ways away from where I want to be, but I hope to have my shop up and running very soon!

I am inspired my vintage looks and natural fabrics, two things that I hope to bring to everything I create. Some items you can expect to see in my shop are dresses, two piece sets, accessories, and maybe even some home decor. I would love to know what your thoughts are and what you would like to see in my shop. Please comment any suggestions below!
