We made it! (Well almost) Spring is officially less than a week away! Cue birds chirping…

I know I say that and then next week it’s probably going to dump 5 feet of snow. Just like the crazy “bomb cyclone” we had a couple days ago. Colorado, please just let spring come early this once, please.

Nonetheless, I am not going to let a little snow keep me from bringing out my favorite Spring accessories.

Speaking of accessories, there is no better way to turn a cold weather dress into warm weather wearable, than with a few Spring additions.

I added a rattan basket bag and camel loafers in order to make this plaid, wool dress completely spring ready.

More than ever I have been trying to find new ways to style items that I would otherwise throw in a box until the next season rolls around. There is no reason why you shouldn’t be able to wear a winter dress into the spring season, especially when styled appropriately with items that spark the joy of Spring.

No one will question why you are wearing a wool dress in the middle of April when you are sporting a rattan basket purse that has summer written all over it! Just remember that on especially hot days you won’t want to be wearing heavy fabrics, so leave the winter dresses for the cooler days towards the beginning and end of the season.
