Have you ever looked through recent pictures in your camera and noticed something oddly similar in all your pictures?

That was me this week. As I scrolled through my photo feed I noticed in almost every pictures I was wearing golden yellow in some form or another. As I got to thinking about it, I had unintentionally bought several items in the shade in prior weeks. Unintentional or not, there is no doubt that I am crushing on the color golden yellow….. or is it golden orange? According to H&M’s website it’s “Saffron Orange”. Nonetheless I’m obsessed.

There could not be a more perfect color to transition into fall, so I will continue to stock up on all things “saffron orange”. The color is seriously giving me all the fall feels. Probably because it reminds me of golden leaves on Aspen trees during peak foliage.

This past weekend Josh and I visited a U-pick farm out in Brighton. We were expecting to pick our own fresh produce, but to our surprise they had a wide array of flowers for the picking as well. I spend way too much money at Trader Joe’s on flowers as it is, but creating your own bouquet from the ground up (literally) was something I was not going to pass up. The large selection of everything from Sunflowers to Chrysanthemums made for the perfect fall inspired bouquet.

Some of the flowers even matched my shirt. More proof that Saffron Orange and I were meant to be.
