Spring Dresses

Hello! I hope you all are enjoying your week so far. I know that I am, now that I am (pretty much) officially on summer break after finishing finals on Tuesday. I say pretty much because I am actually taking an online maymester class that starts next week. How they fit a semesters worth of material into three weeks is beyond me, but I guess I am about to find out.

I also have my brothers graduation to go to tomorrow, he is graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. My dad is a software engineer and my younger brother is also going to school for engineering, father like sons I guess. This got me thinking about doing a roundup of spring dresses that are perfect for graduations and weddings. It is, after all, that time of year when I feel like these kinds of events are popping up right and left.

I wore this pretty pink floral dress for a brunch date with Josh (my boyfriend of 5 years and my other half behind the lens) and instantly realized it would be the perfect dress to wear to my brothers graduation as well. I am new to the brand BB Dokota, but I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and feel of this dress. It is lose fitting and has a very light and ‘airy’ feel to it, making it the perfect option for sitting through an outdoor wedding or graduation on a hot day.
