To be honest, in the past I never really understood all the excitement surrounding the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I have never really been able to afford to shop at Nordstrom and thought the prices were still kinda high even with the sale. Recently this has changed. I find that as I get older I appreciate quality over quantity a lot more than in the past. I also was never able to appreciate all that Nordstrom has to offer because of sheer lack of experience shopping there.

Here are the things I have discovered to love about Nordstrom and the Anniversary sale. One, all of the stuff at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale are items from this coming up fall season. Let me say that again, this season, not last or three years ago but this season! No other store offers these kinds of deals on items that aren’t even in season yet. Usually stores markdown items towards the end of the season, not before it. Second, they offer free shipping and have an awesome return policy. If you are like me and like to shop online this is a must. And lastly, I have found some brands that Nordstrom carries that I absolutely adore.

While shopping the Anniversary sale I came across the brand 1901. It is a Nordstrom brand that features classic and preppy styles. Oh and did I mention they have petite sizes? I instantly fell in love and bought these wide leg pants and this cream sweater, which are featured below. They are perfect staple pieces for any fall wardrobe and I have already worn the sweater twice. Both pieces are an sale for $60 during the Anniversary Sale and will go back up to $90 after the sale ends.

My absolute favorite find from the Anniversary sale are these maroon loafers by Louise et Cie. I have an undying love for loafers and have been looking for a pair this color for fall. They also come in black and at $90 they won’t break the bank. Especially because they are made of high quality, soft leather.

Another brand that I am obsessed with is Zella. It is a workout clothing brand that compares to Lululemon in quality but is much cheaper. These high waisted leggings are my go to workout pant, but can also be worn with boots and a tunic for fall. A already own two pairs of their leggings and bought this cropped version for under $40 at the Anniversary Sale, along with this super soft workout tank.
