Plaid Dresses for Fall

Fall is finally here. It is truly my most favorite time of the year. As I write this post a pumpkin candle is burning on my nightstand and I am cozied up in a flannel blanket with a piping hot cup of spiced tea. There is something about being cozied up while the air turns chilly outside that makes fall so magical.

By the time September rolls around I have worn my favorite sundresses at least a dozen times each and my swimsuits have begun to fade. I do dearly love summer, but there comes a time when I am when I am just itching to pull my chunky sweaters and blanket scarves out from underneath my bed. I will admit, I got even more antsy this year and did this even earlier than usual. My boots were covered in dust, so I cleaned them up and switched them out for my flip flops and wedges. They are now perfectly lined up in my all too small closet, waiting to be worn to the pumpkin patch.

When I think of fall clothing there is one print that immediately comes to mind. That print is plaid. It is what the comfiest flannels and most festive scarves are covered in, so why not dresses too? Although my sundresses are now packed away under my bed, dresses are still my go to clothing item year round.
